Brief Biography:

Roselene Ashika Deo is a dedicated educator specializing in Food Production units at the Fiji National University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, located at the Namaka Campus. Her extensive journey in the hospitality industry began in 2006 at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa. Over the years, she has gained invaluable experience across various hotels and establishments throughout Fiji.

She has been consistently recognized for exceptional performance, receiving multiple Staff of the Year and Front-of-House Monthly Employee awards. Known for her strong adherence to standard operating procedures and multi-tasking abilities, she brings a wealth of practical, industry-proven knowledge directly into her teaching.

Her qualifications include a Trade Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Fiji National University and a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery from TAFE. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Hospitality Hotel Management at the Fiji National University to further enhance her ability to prepare the next generation of hospitality professionals.
