Kelera Vakere Vucatu is a dedicated educator specializing in Food and Beverage units at the Fiji National University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, located at the Namaka Campus. Her extensive journey in the hospitality industry began in 2006 at the Horizon Beach Resort. Over the years, she has gained invaluable experience across various hotels and establishments throughout Fiji.

She has been consistently recognized for exceptional performance, receiving multiple Staff of the Year and Front-of-House Monthly Employee awards. Known for her strong adherence to standard operating procedures and multi-tasking abilities, she brings a wealth of practical, industry-proven knowledge directly into her teaching.

Her qualifications include a Certificate IV in Restaurant and Service from the Fiji National University and a Higher Education Certificate in Teaching in Technical and Vocational Training. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Specialist in Technical Vocational Teaching) at the Fiji National University to further enhance her ability to prepare the next generation of hospitality professionals.
