Ms. Helen Merle Savena is a formally trained professional in the Tourism and Hospitality sector, with expertise in key areas including Hotel Management, Food and Beverage, accommodation operations, and Culinary Arts. She serves as a passionate Assistant Instructor in the Food and Beverage Department at the Fiji National University’s Labasa Campus. With over eight years of teaching experience across certificate, diploma, and degree programs, she brings a total of twenty-one years of combined industry and teaching experience in Fiji.

Her teaching background includes specialization in Culinary Arts and Bakery at the Fiji National University. Her professional experience also includes serving as a Commercial Cookery trainer at the National Training and Productivity Centre (NTPC) in Nasese, and as an Assistant Instructor in Food and Beverage at the Fiji National University’s Nasese campus.
