Brief Biography:

Bulou Vasemaca Sesenabaravi Cula is an accomplished hospitality professional and educator with over 30 years of combined industry and academic experience. Her career began in the hospitality sector, where she spent more than a decade gaining expertise across key operational areas including Front Office, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Bar, and Kitchen operations.

In 2000, she transitioned into hospitality education, starting as a part-time Training Officer in Food & Beverage at the Fiji National Training Centre (now NTPC). After two years, she joined the Fiji Institute of Technology (now Fiji National University) as a full-time Lecturer. During her tenure, she taught Food & Beverage and expanded her portfolio to include Front Office Operations across all levels of hospitality programs. She has also taught generic Hospitality & Tourism courses at both the diploma and final-year degree levels.

Currently serving as Head of Department for Housekeeping and Front Office Management at Fiji National University, she brings 21 years of dedicated service to hospitality education. She is passionately committed to developing skilled professionals for Fiji’s tourism and hospitality industry and beyond.
