Mr. Sunil Kumar Sinha is a seasoned academic and researcher with over 18 years of experience in the fields of hospitality, hotel management, and tourism education. He has taught for more than 14 years across certificate, diploma, and degree programmes and currently serves as the Acting Head of Department and Senior Instructor within the School of Hospitality and Tourism.
Mr. Sinha’s academic and professional interests lie in sustainable tourism development, with active involvement in curriculum design, research, and community engagement initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability and cultural integration in Fiji’s hospitality and tourism sector. With a professional background as a chef and hospitality trainer, he brings extensive practical knowledge in food production, bakery, cost control, and international cuisine. His holistic approach to teaching bridges academic theory with industry practice, preparing students to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic and globally connected hospitality and tourism industry.
