Brief Biography:
Jazbeen Ali is a dedicated lecturer in Accounting at Fiji National University, with over 15 years of experience in higher education. She began her academic journey as a tutor in 2010 and steadily advanced through roles as Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer. Jazbeen is known for her strong capabilities in curriculum development, blended and online learning delivery, and academic research. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Accounting and Finance at FNU, building on her Master of Commerce and prior qualifications in accounting.
Her research interests have led to publications in international journals, including studies on Islamic banking and service quality in the food industry. With a background that includes time at PricewaterhouseCoopers, she brings both academic and practical expertise to her role. Jazbeen is also skilled in ICT, public speaking, and team leadership, and is fluent in English and Fiji-Hindi.
