Brief Biography:
Mr. Kinijioti Vakawaletabua is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Management, now in his second year of teaching at Fiji National University. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Management, researching government policy on SMEs with field studies conducted in Vanua Levu. Simultaneously, he is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching to enhance his university-level teaching capabilities.
Mr. Vakawaletabua holds a Master of Commerce, where his research focused on the impact of COVID-19 on teaching and learning at FNU’s Labasa Campus. He also possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Entrepreneurship, a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, Industrial Relations, Employment Relations & HRM, and a Diploma in Management from TAFE.
With substantial practical experience in management and entrepreneurship, he has organized numerous events at village, district, and provincial levels, including the Bua Festival of Youth. His professional background also includes roles in customer service and loans at BSP, providing him with valuable industry insight.
