Brief Biography:

Ms. Yogita Swamy is a Lecturer in Management within the School of Management at the Fiji National University. With nearly two decades of dedicated academic service at FNU, she possesses an extensive background in management, with expertise spanning human resource management, operations management, and services marketing.

Her professional experience includes over three years as a Hospital Administrator in the public sector. She has also held several key leadership roles, serving as Head of Department and later as Head of School (Management) from 2018 to 2024.

Ms. Swamy holds a Master of Commerce in Management and Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the South Pacific. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the Fiji National University.

Her research interests encompass supply chain management, project management, business process outsourcing, service quality, and SME competitiveness. Her scholarly work has been published in reputable journals, including the Journal of Business Strategy, British Food Journal, and Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management, and she has presented at both local and international conferences.

Ms. Swamy has a diverse teaching portfolio, delivering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the management discipline. She has also facilitated international study tours in higher education for Griffith University since 2019.

She is a professional member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) and the Academy of International Business (AIB).
