Brief Biography:

Ms. Waibuta brings 24 years of distinguished government service across multiple key ministries including the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Trade and Commerce, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade. Her international experience includes a four-year diplomatic assignment as Counselor at the Fijian embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Her professional background also includes service as a Trade Consultant and participation in a British Government-sponsored project with the International Trade Centre/UNDP in Suva. Prior to joining Fiji National University as a full-time faculty member, she shared her expertise as a part-time trainer at the University of the South Pacific.
