Brief Biography:

Ms. Pravika Devi is currently a Lecturer in Accounting at Fiji National University, Namaka Campus, where she delivers lectures, mentors’ students, and contributes to curriculum development and research. With over a decade of teaching experience, she previously served as a Senior Accounting and Economics Teacher at Kamil Muslim College, where she led the Commerce Department and chaired several key committees. She holds a Master of Commerce in Accounting, along with a Bachelor’s and Diploma in Education.

Ms Devi is currently pursuing CPA certification with CPA Australia (commencing Semester 2, 2025) and has forthcoming research publications in the International Journal of Accounting and Financial Reporting, including work on carbon commitment disclosures. Her academic interests include ethics, environmental accounting, and sustainability frameworks. Known for her student-centered teaching and strong leadership, Ms Devi is passionate about fostering a love for commerce and supporting students’ academic and personal growth through inclusive and engaging education.
