Programme Description

This module specifies the competency required to plan, prepare, set out, construct and install window and door units to a given opening.  This door and windows are for but not limited to access, security, weather proofing of a section of a building. The replacement of defective windows and doors will also be covered in this module so to assist participants to carry out maintenance work to a building. The module includes timber window and door units whereby the participants will construct framed ledge and brace door and simple sash window.
