Programme Description

This module covers the competencies in planning the layout of residential sanitary drainage system. The installations alterations, repairs or additions to existing installations including a \'cut in\' to the existing drain, the designing of a sanitary drainage system layout, working from the connection upstream; location of sewer, connection to the drain, line of drain, inspection openings, overflow relief gully, upstream vent and downstream drainage is also covered in this module.
The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualifications for Plumbing Trade.
