Terms and Conditions

*** Using the Online Payment Facility indicates that you accept these terms and conditions. Therefore, if you do not accept these terms and conditions; do not use this facility. ***

This online payment system is provided by the University and its third party suppliers. The University may update these terms from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out here. Please ensure you are aware of the current terms.

This Online Payment Facility is for payments made by, or on behalf of Students. “Student/s” means student/s registered with the University. This service is also available to conferences/workshop attendees and former students of the University.

Payments can be made by the approved credit or debit cards illustrated by the logos displayed on this Online Payment Facility.

All prices quoted are in Fijian Dollars. The University reserves the right to change the fees at any time.

Payments are to be made in the following currencies only:

  • Fijian Dollars
  • New Zealand Dollars
  • US Dollars
  • Canadian Dollars
  • Euros
  • Australian Dollars

Any currency conversion costs or other charges or costs incurred by you in making the payment or in processing a refund shall be borne by you, and shall not be deductible from any fees due to the University.

Payments will be applied to the Student’s University account or the relevant account in accordance with the details submitted electronically. The University cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct University account due to you quoting incorrect details.

The University cannot accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason. If the card supplier declines payment the University is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. Thus it shall be the card holder’s responsibility to check with the bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.

Overpayments
In the event that an overpayment is made in respect of any fee, the credit balance arising will be used to offset any debt or invoice on the Student’s account (whether arising from tuition, accommodation, or any other legitimate charge) in due date order. Refunds
Refunds, if applicable, will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original payment.

Requests for refunds must be sent via RevenueQueries@fnu.ac.fj

If your request for a refund is granted the amount will be transferred to your account via online.

If the Student leaves the University before they complete their programme, any entitlement to a refund of tuition fees will be made in line with the prevailing Fee Policy at any time the Student leaves.

Disputed Amounts
If you dispute the outstanding amount on your account please contact the University.

Security
All payment details which are entered through ANZ eGate are encrypted when you enter them.

Communications to and from the Service Providers’ website are encrypted.

The University shall not be liable for any failure by you, the Student or any third party to properly protect data from being seen on screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such persons, either before, during or after the online payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the online payment process.

Limitation of Liability
In no event will the University, its suppliers, or any other third parties mentioned on this site be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage (including without limitation, those resulting from lost profits, lost data or business interruption), arising from or in connection with your use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites.

Privacy and Data Protection
The University provides this Online Payment Facility as a service to you. The University is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy.

The University will only use information entered on this website for the following purposes:

  1. Administration of your payment and maintenance of your account with the University, including the issue of receipts by email and the administration of overpayments and refunds
  2. To contact you about payments you have made
  3. Prevention of fraud
  4. Debt recovery
