Formerly known as the College of Engineering, Science and Technology (CEST), the College has made an exciting transition this year into the College of Engineering and Technical Vocational Education and Training (CETVET).<\/p>\n
This is to further emphasise the University\u2019s priority of providing TVET education and allows the University to align itself with the Fiji Government\u2019s Fiji National Education Policy Framework 2024-2033 and allows the University to support Government\u2019s quest for a skilled and future focused TVET workforce.<\/p>\n
As part of this transition, the University welcomes Mr Salabogi Mavoa as the Acting Dean of CETVET. We also acknowledge the work of outgoing CEST Dean, Professor Tibor Pasinszki as he assumes his new role as Professor of Science.<\/p>\n
In addition, Derrick Campus will be the main CETVET location, with CETVET programmes provided at our Namaka, Ba and Labasa campuses. CETVET will continue to offer TVET Trade and Engineering programmes.<\/p>\n
The Science programmes will also be delivered as service programmes for other Colleges of FNU.<\/p>\n
CETVET will now be under the TVET Pasifika umbrella, which oversees NTPC and FMA, as well as the TVET programmes offered by all the five colleges of FNU.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
