Course Introduction- Front Office and Customer Relations

Overview

Most businesses small or large have a front office or reception area. The standard operating procedures of a front office receptionist or Guest Service Agent consist of many duties and responsibilities that improve the efficiency of the office as a whole. Front office employees should be well-versed in every aspect of their position in order to fulfill the role to the best of their abilities.

Managers and employees who work in these key areas have very high levels of contact with their internal and external customers who have high expectations.

Therefore they need to be extremely skillful, intelligent, committed and consistent in whatever task they are assigned to do.

Having these qualities will enable an organization to rise above the rest and will definitely fulfill its customer needs and make them happy. This can be only achieved through proper learning and training, theoretically and practically and therefore we as individual or an organisation ought to play an important role in providing quality service to our customers.
