The School of Applied Sciences offers its programmes under six (6) departments: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Environmental Science & Meterology and Food Science programmes of the Institute of Applied Sciences.The programmes offer multiple avenues to enhance your analytical capabilities and develop yourself holistically. While you fulfill the requirements of your programmes, do actively participate in its research components that are designed to further develop your analytical thinking and critical reasoning skills. While you are encouraged to work independently, be aware of other enrichment programmes that develop team work, leadership skills and enhance your acumen in innovation and enterprise.

Our programmes offer quality learning that you cannot get from books alone. This is because they are designed to offer experiences that develop students competence, character and adaptability and equip you with skills desired by employers such as problem-solving, communication and team skills as well as attributes such as service mindset and transnational mindset and their overall application.
